Operations for sign crews

Every sign, accounted for.

Post & Rider runs the whole job for real estate sign installers: orders, barcoded inventory, routes, photo proof, and billing. One system, from the agent's order to the post back on your shelf.

What it does

The day‑to‑day, handled in one place.

Ordering with exact prices

Agents type the property address and see the real price before they order. Mileage, rush, and extra trips are figured automatically, so nobody reviews orders by hand.

Barcoded inventory

Every post, panel, rider, and lockbox is scanned out, into the ground, and back onto the shelf. You always know what is in storage, what is in a yard, and whose it is.

Routes and dispatch

Assign a route to an installer, or offer jobs to your crew to claim with the time and pay shown up front. Get a nudge when a job sits unacknowledged.

Photo proof

Installers photograph the sign, the house, and the lockbox before a job can close. Your customer gets the photos the moment it is in the ground.

Billing that runs itself

Card on file before the first order, charged when the install is marked done. Storage bills monthly. A failed payment alerts you at once instead of hiding in a tab.

Installer onboarding and insurance

Training videos, a quiz, and a signed certification before the first job. Insurance expiry is tracked, with warnings first and a hard stop when it lapses.

How it works

From the order to the post back on the shelf.

  1. 1

    An agent orders

From your branded portal, or by texting you the address. The price is set before they commit.

  2. 2

    You dispatch

Assign it or pool it. The installer gets a text, a pick list with shelf locations, and the order notes.

  3. 3

    The crew installs

Scan the post, take the photos, mark it installed. The map updates and the clock starts on that post.

  4. 4

    Everyone gets paid

The card is charged, the agent gets their photos, and the installer's pay for that trip posts to their ledger.

  5. 5

    Removal closes the loop

One tap from the agent. Scanning the post back in returns everything to available stock in a single step.

Your brand, not ours

Your customers never see our name.

Agents order from your company's address, with your logo and your colors. Emails come from you. Post & Rider stays in the back of the shop where software belongs.

  • Your own address. A subdomain of ours, or the orders address your customers already use.
  • Your payments. Connect your own Stripe account. Money goes straight to you, and we take no cut of your orders.
  • Your prices. Base rates, mileage, rush, storage, and installer pay are settings you control.
  • Your data. It belongs to you, and you can export it.

Where it comes from

Built inside a working sign company.

We run sign crews in Central Texas. We used the software that exists for this trade, and it fought us daily: prices checked by hand, inventory nobody trusted, installers chased by text.

So we are building what we wanted. It runs our own operation first. When it has earned that, we open it to other installers.

Early access

Tell us about your crew.

Post & Rider is in private build with its first sign company. Leave your details and we'll reach out personally as we open up.
